As opposed to film production companies which integrate a 10% profit into their budgets, the Human Rights Film Foundation works on an expenses-only basis. Our film budgets only include the raw cost of filming (travel and simple accommodation), the basic fee of the director-editor, as well as the cost of outsourced services such as DVD authoring and duplication.
We can be mobilized at a relatively short notice, and deliver a professional product within 3-4 weeks after filming. Apart from the DVDs, we can also supply a range of compressed file formats, ready to go online. We can also advise on how to distribute the films and update our partners about the latest developments in web-based promotion.
